For the past 92 years, racing has been taking place on the streets of Monaco, and just as Formula E returned to the Principality last weekend, we returned to our roots.
Located just a stone’s throw away from our state-of-the-art headquarters in Fontvieille, and as the roads we walk every day, the Circuit de Monaco is a track we know very well.
Carrying the pride of the Principality in Formula E’s crown jewel event, competing on home turf is always a special experience and one we can’t wait to do again in the future.
In the run-up to our home event, we were very proud to welcome Dorchester Collection to the ROKiT Venturi Racing family as part of a multi-year collaboration.

After racing on a shortened configuration of the world’s most iconic race track from Seasons 1-5, everything changed last weekend as we did battle on the full layout of Monaco for the very first time.
When the starting lights flashed out, Formula E cars tackled new challenges in the crown jewel of the championship and everything was to play for.
As the field navigated Saint Devote, Casino Square, the Grand Hotel Hairpin and tunnel for the first time, the spectacle didn’t disappoint.
Overtaking on the streets of Monaco is notoriously difficult, but in the seventh race of the current campaign, Edoardo Mortara showed that just about anything is possible.
After qualifying in P18, the Swiss-Italian street circuit specialist faced an uphill challenge but this didn’t stop him from digging in deep and charging through the field.
When the starting lights flashed out, Edo gained an impressive five positions on the opening lap alone and continued to battle until the very end.
Duelling for points, a collision in the penultimate corner of the final lap ended his hunt for the top 10, but regardless of this, we’ll continue to fight the fight in Puebla next month.
