With 30 days remaining until the official start to Season 7, Formula E has today revealed an updated calendar, announcing the next set of races for the 2020/21 campaign.
Featuring eight rounds, the updated schedule will see the world’s premier all-electric racing series visit six cities which span four continents.
The campaign will commence with a double-header night event at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Diriyah on February 26 and 27 before racing in Rome for the third time on April 10.
On April 24, Formula E will return to Valencia – the home of pre-season testing – to race on a new configuration of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, specifically designed for electric racing.
The Monaco E-Prix – which is the home circuit of ROKiT Venturi Racing – will be the fifth event of the season and will be held on May 8 with the final circuit configuration subject to confirmation.
The Formula E paddock will return to Morocco on May 22 to contest the Marrakesh E-Prix for a fifth time, once again racing on the Circuit Automobile Moulay El Hassan.
Season 7’s previously scheduled season-opener – the Santiago E-Prix – will take place on June 5 and 6 as part of a double-header event at the Parque O’Higgins Circuit.
Strict COVID-19 protocols will be enforced throughout the season and will be implemented in collaboration with all cities to ensure that health and safety remain as a top priority.

Now we look forward to kicking off the season on February 26th and 27th with two night races in Diriyah which I’m sure will be a highlight. Seeing Rome back on the calendar is very positive - it’s a central location that truly represents the city centre racing synonymous with Formula E. Having Monaco, our home race, confirmed is obviously a highlight for us as a team and it will be fantastic opportunity to showcase our new HQ during the race weekend. The confirmation of the double-header in Santiago in June is also great for the series global appeal - and we anticipate more races being announced in due course. We're very much looking forward to racing again next month and kicking off what promises to be a landmark season for Formula E.”
