Season 6 in Numbers

Dive into all of the facts and figures from ROKiT Venturi Racing’s 2019/20 season...

Formula E’s sixth season of competition is over, and while it will be remembered as the unprecedented campaign, it was a landmark year for us here at ROKiT Venturi Racing.

We battled hard from November-August, contesting 11 races in five cities, occupying the streets of Diriyah, Santiago, Mexico City, and Marrakesh, before taking up residency in Berlin.

Spanning 8 months and 23 days, Season 6 will go down as our third-longest competition to date, trailing Seasons 3 and 1 which remain at the top some 29 and 23 days longer.

For us, however, Season 6 will remain a story of what could have been and although we recorded 10th in the Teams’ Championship, it was also a contest for the Venturi history books.

In the season-opening Diriyah double-header, Edo became our most successful driver, demoting Stephane Sarrazin from the top of the table by scoring his 99th point for the team.

The Swiss-Italian’s streak didn’t end there, however, and in Mexico City, Edo surpassed a century of points – the 18th driver to achieve this – before placing the team in the 350 Club after notching our 350th point in Marrakesh.

With his 28th E-Prix start in the first part of the Berlin showdown, Edo also became our most experienced driver having now started more races for ROKiT Venturi Racing than any other pilot.

After completing the most intense finale in the history of motorsport by contesting six races in nine days, we turned a total of 1,566 laps on race weekends, excluding test sessions.

This lap count equates to 3,889.832 kilometres of running or the equivalent of driving from our headquarters in Monaco to Greenland – the world’s largest island, covered by the only permanent ice sheet outside of Antarctica [also the name of our pioneering polar exploration vehicle].

As we recount the season – and seasons gone by – we have completed 10,376 laps as a team and driven 24,463.444 kilometres using electric power and green technologies.

Season 7 is waiting in the wings and we’re already deep in preparations for the next challenge ahead of us this coming January.
