With a four week gap between the third and fourth races of Season 6, we were happy to jump back into action as Formula E returned to Mexico City.
Situated 2,234m above sea level – 74 times the height of Mexico’s iconic El Castillo of the Mayan Chichen Itza – the race in the Mexican capital was no easy task.
Featuring five new corners and therefore 25% longer for 2020, the award-winning Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez presented a fresh set of challenges.
Battling from P11 to take P8 at the chequered flag, Edo recorded four vital points, making history for us here in Monaco as our first driver to notch over 100 career points in Formula E.
Hitting a century at the start of his third season, Edo also became the 18th driver in the championship’s history to achieve this feat – and we’re already aiming for the next milestone ahead.
Facing off against Stoffel Vandoorne, Lucas di Grassi and Oliver Rowland during the race, we placed points on the board yet again – one of only three teams to do so in every race this season.
En route to this result, we completed a collective 328.356kms of running with Edo and Felipe, bringing our total from this season up to 1,336.323.
In only two weeks, this distance will be extended as we take to the Circuit International Automobile Moulay El Hassan for the Marrakesh E-Prix, completing additional running in Formula E’s mid-season rookie test.
