Soaking up the big stats from Santiago 

After a 56-day gap between the opening two rounds, Season 6 of the FIA Formula E Championship leapt back into action last weekend, racing in the Chilean capital of Santiago for a third time.

As the third event of the 2019/20 campaign – and the 61st in the history of Formula E – kicked off, we hit the ground running with a car inside the top three in both first and second practice.

Carrying this momentum forward into qualifying, Felipe made the fourth Super Pole appearance of his career, while Edo topped the timesheets at the close of Q2 – despite having to take avoiding action from a sideways Robin Frijns on his hot lap.

While Edo’s 25th E-Prix ultimately ended in disappointment – retiring after incurring heavy damage in a collision with Antonio Felix da Costa – Felipe fought on to take P9 at the flag, recording two points and his seventh top 10 finish for ROKiT Venturi Racing.

Collectively over the Santiago weekend, we completed extensive running – turning 156 laps of the Parque O’Higgins Circuit in just one day.

This translates to 357km, meaning that as a team we have now driven more than 1,000km this season alone! That’s already quite a distance – but we’re already counting the hours until we can add to that total in Mexico City this February… bring it on!
