Uncover the Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR

Featuring a mixture of high-speed corners and heavy braking zones, a lap of the Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR poses a unique ride on the Season 8 calendar.

To complete the perfect lap, it is crucial to secure a good exit from the final corner which takes drivers past the start/finish line and towards Turns One and Two at high speed.

This left-right sequence of kinks is flat and Turn Three lies immediately on Turn Two’s exit as drivers brake downhill into the challenging 90-degree left-hander.

A short straight leads to Turn Four which mirrors Turn Three and opens into an uphill ascension through Turns Five and Six – a flatout right-left sequence of kinks.

With speed building, Turn Seven is a heavy braking zone made even more challenging by a hidden dip and this left-hander opens into a sequence of four 90-degree corners.

Two turns to the left and two to the right complete Turns Eight-11 and after navigating this tight section that rewards patience, drivers accelerate onto another straight.

The tight chicane of Turns 12 and 13 break up this run, with Turn 14 designating another 90-degree corner in which it is crucial to maximise speed.

Turn 15 is perhaps the most iconic corner of the lap as drivers loop around the Marconi Obelisk in a wide and open left-hand hairpin that caters for multiple racing lines.

Upon completion and after another short straight, Turns 16-19 mark the final challenge of the lap, with a sequence of four 90-degree corners taking drivers to the line before commencing another unrelenting ride in Rome.
